The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in preparing and recording journal entries and account reconciliations, internal management reporting, performing financial analysis, and participating in third party audits.JOB DUTIESEssential Job Functions:Performs daily accounting reconciliation and resolves discrepancies, ensuring all internal and external transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.Reconciles bank statements, credit cards statements and intercompany accounts each monthWorks in cooperation with Controller to perform month end accounting close in a timely and accurate manner.Regularly maintains detailed reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for several sitesAssists in the year end audit process and other accounting projects as deemed necessary.Performs all other duties as needed to assist the company in attaining its objectivesThe Core Competencies needed to be successful in this role include the following:Teamwork/Collaboration - Interacts with people effectively, displaying an ability and willingness to share and receive information.
