thinking.JOB DESCRIPTIONWe have a great opportunity for a Tax
Director. The Tax Director is an integral part of the tax
compliance group primarily responsible for domestic compliance and
tax accounting for the Sports and Entertainment operations of a
U.S.-based multi-national company.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, direct, and review the preparation of U.S. Federal,
state, and local corporate and partnership income tax returns
- Review quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return
extensions
- Review interim and year-end tax provisions including current
taxable income calculation and deferred tax rollforward
- Oversee staff and/or consultants tasked with the preparation of
assigned entity tax returns and projects
- Oversee the preparation of foreign related filings such as
5471s, 8858s, 8865s, 1042s and W8s
- Actively partner with cross-functional groups within FOX
Corporation to understand the tax impact of business operations and
ensure that tax implications are identified, considered, and
communicated
- Research complex tax matters, monitor changes in tax law, and
communicate the impacts to management
- Lead tax process optimization and efficiency by developing and
implementing changes to improve the internal processes to ensure
the accuracy of tax data collection and reporting
- Assist with responses to tax authority inquiries
- Assist with various tax projects as assigned relating to tax
audits and tax planning
- Provide tax support to other corporate and business operations
groupsWHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 10+ years of domestic income tax compliance experience,
including 5+ years of managerial experience
- Strong understanding of complex domestic corporate and
partnership income tax principles
- Strong understanding of tax accounting concepts
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a
fast-paced work environment
- Ability to perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently
with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented; self-starter with strong organizational,
analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel for pivot tables
and logical formulas
- Strong tax technical research skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to
work effectively as a part of a teamNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A

- MBT and/or CPA
- Experience with Corptax, Alteryx, and Workday
- Public accounting experience in a nationally recognized

requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount
dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is:
$140,000.00-200,000.00 annually for California. This role is also
eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits,
including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid
time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan
documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in
accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
