wastewater industry. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting
or a related business discipline, or equivalent professional
experience 710 years of progressively responsible accounting and
finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency in cost accounting within a manufacturing
setting Strong command of core accounting functions: general
ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles) and their practical application Skilled in financial
data collection, analysis, presentation, and reporting to executive
leadership and external stakeholders Hands-on experience with ERP
systems; familiarity with Infor Visual is a plus High proficiency
in Microsoft Excel (including complex pivot tables) and Word
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
abilities Capable of interpreting and translating complex financial
data for diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders
Sound judgment and strategic thinking in financial planning and
decision-making Proven ability to recruit, mentor, train, and
retain a diverse and high-performing team Effective communicator
with strong interpersonal skills; experienced in delivering
presentations to senior management, boards, and external partners

deadlines Day to Day Responsibilities: Accountable for optimizing
returns on financial assets through the development and
implementation of robust financial policies, procedures, controls,
and reporting systems. Responsibilities include producing timely
and accurate financial reports, maintaining a reliable system of
accounting records, and enforcing a comprehensive framework of
controls and budgeting practices. These efforts are aimed at
minimizing risk, improving the precision of financial reporting,
and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
Holds full supervisory authority, including responsibilities such
as conducting employee evaluations, providing counseling and
administering disciplinary actions. Oversees and approves requests
for absences and overtime. Makes recommendations regarding hiring,
terminations, compensation adjustments, job reassignments, and
employee training. Directs financial decision-making by developing,
implementing, and enforcing robust policies and procedures. Leads
the Accounting & Finance Department to ensure timely and accurate
delivery of financial reports, including monthly statements, annual
audits, and budgets. Designs and manages the departments
organizational structure to effectively meet strategic goals and
operational objectives. Establishes and maintains internal systems
and controls to safeguard the integrity of financial data and
processes. Conducts internal audits and coordinates with external
auditors to validate the company's financial condition. Ensures
compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by monitoring
legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on
necessary actions. Oversees corporate banking activities to support
operational needs; maintains a weekly cash flow forecast. Develops
and manages budgets by scheduling, collecting, analyzing, and
consolidating financial data; recommends strategic financial plans.
Tracks budget performance, analyzes variances, and initiates
corrective actions to meet financial targets. Provides insights
into the company's financial health through comprehensive data
collection, interpretation, and reporting. Produces specialized
reports by analyzing financial trends and summarizing key findings
for strategic decision-making. Collaborates with the Factory
General Manager and Supply Chain Manager to ensure inventory
control compliance and accurate costing. Leads annual inventory
reconciliation in coordination with external audits. Maintains
effective cost accounting systems to optimize profitability across
business units. Recruits, trains, mentors, and evaluates team
members within the Accounting & Finance Department. Fosters a
positive and collaborative work culture through strong internal
communication and staff engagement. Executes other duties as
assigned by Senior Management.
