JOB DESCRIPTION

Will process claims when notice of injury is received
Arrange transportation via clinic van or cab for first time visit
Contact doctor regarding injured status or any concerns about the injured employee or the incident
Submit forms for insurance to begin claim
Consistent communication with employee and adjusters to insure all parties are on the same page in regards to benefits, questions and doctor's appointments
Constant communication with industrial clinics and doctors regarding progress of injured employees
Continuous communication with client in regard to modified duty availability for injured employee
If no modified duty is available for injured ability to work with insurance company to locate modified duty elsewhere possibly in a volunteer facility
Notify employees of no-show appointments urging them to immediately reschedule
Assist the employees in filling out their paperwork such as mileage forms
Participate in claims review with insurance company in order to get updates regarding open claims
Update every 30 days the company's loss; run numbers into an in-house spreadsheet
Report via email daily (if necessary) when injuries occur to Executive Management & Safety Department so that we are all aware of any and all injuries
As a Team member with the Safety Department, conduct accident investigations
Reconcile all bills for all work compensation clinics
Ability to meet attendance requirements
Ability to work extended hours as needed



SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bilingual English/Spanish (written & oral)
4+ years' experience in Worker's Comp
OSHA Training/Trainer
Experience with 1,000+ employees
Prior experience with Safety Compliance
Working experience with adjusters, Insurance Companies, claims review, Doctors and Clinics is required
Staffing Industry Experience is a major plus
Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel)
Must be a team player
Must be highly organized
