training and uniforms provided. Must have 2 years of supervisory
experience within the last 3 years. Must have a clean background
and clean driving record. As an Armed Field Security Officer you
will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as
Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to our clients by
carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific
policies, and if appropriate emergency response. Respond to
incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving
manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility
and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by
client site. Assure officers receive appropriate training in
developing both their technical and professional skills; also
provide performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining,
performance evaluations, recognition, etc.). Utilize scheduling
software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training
Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for
effective management. Listen to and act upon employee grievances
with help from appropriate branch or region HR support. Participate
in industry specific security/safety training programs
QUALIFICATIONS: Possess effective written and oral communication
skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of
client personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless
technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties.
Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a
calm and efficient manner. Provide customer service to our clients
by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce
site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response.
Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a
high school diploma or equivalent. Possess a current Guard Card and
Firearm Permit and any other licensing requirements subject to
state and/or local laws and regulations that may be required prior
to employment. As a condition of employment the candidate must
successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen
in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal
will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a
manner consistent with applicable laws. Possess a valid driver's
license, required for driving positions only. Must have at least 2
years of security supervisory experience within the past 3 years;
