Position description
The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the
University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a
full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The department is
interested in candidates with a strong research program in
environmental and/or occupational health, including but not limited
to epidemiology, exposure science, intervention science, climate
change and health, and environmental health disparities. We
especially encourage applicants with innovative new perspectives
and transdisciplinary research approaches, creating opportunities
for collaborative research and training within our department, with
the other departments in our emerging School of Population and
Public Health, with the other schools within the College of Health
Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences), or with any
of the various research centers at our campus. UC Irvine is

expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research

on grant funding.
