Occupational Therapist passionate about helping students reach
their full potential? Join our team as an Independent Educational
Evaluation (IEE) Assessor and play a crucial role in ensuring
students receive the educational support they need to thrive. We're
seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to conduct
comprehensive IEE assessments for students in educational settings.
This flexible, contract-based position offers the opportunity to
work independently while making a meaningful difference in
students' lives. Requirements: Key Responsibilities Conduct
thorough occupational therapy evaluations as part of Independent
Educational Evaluations Complete detailed school-based observations
to assess students' functional performance in their natural
learning environment Participate actively in IEP (Individualized
Education Program) meetings to discuss findings and recommendations
Prepare comprehensive assessment reports with evidence-based
recommendations Collaborate with educational teams, families, and
other professionals Compensation & Schedule Hourly Rate: $55-$62
per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Commitment: 15-20
hours per IEE assessment Flexible scheduling to accommodate school
schedules and IEP meeting requirements Contract-based position with
competitive compensation Required Qualifications: Current state
licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with
children and adolescents in educational settings Strong knowledge
of IEP processes and special education law Excellent written
communication skills for report writing Ability to work
independently and manage multiple assessments Preferred
Qualifications: Previous experience conducting educational
evaluations or IEEs School-based occupational therapy experience
Additional certifications in pediatric assessment tools Bilingual
