ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is
available for a full-time, full-school-year Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) based onsite at a school in La Quinta,
CA. This role supports students primarily with mild to moderate
needs, along with some severe cases, including those using AAC
devices. Key responsibilities include providing direct speech and
language support to students within the school setting. The
position may include itinerant duties, requiring travel between
multiple school sites. Candidates must hold a Certificate of
Clearance (COC) to work in this setting. Preferred qualifications
and experience: Previous experience working in schools strongly
preferred Bilingual Spanish skills highly desired to effectively
communicate with the student population and families Ability to
support a variety of student needs, including mild to moderate
speech challenges and some severe cases Comfortable working onsite
as this is currently a priority for the employer before considering
remote options This role involves an opportunity to serve a diverse
