DevOps Platform EngineerThe Opportunity:As a lead platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. Youll guide your team as they use the latest technologies to improve your clients environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform expertise, youll lead your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.Youll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, youll continue to strengthen your DevOps expertise while supporting the development of critical naval platforms.Join us. The world cant wait.You Have:5+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments4+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness3+ years of experience with supporting DoD or government agenciesExperience with Application ContainerizationExperience with monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of pipelinesExperience with Systems Architecture and DesignExperience with Agile developmentTop Secret clearanceBachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or MathematicsNice If You Have:Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON, YAML, or YANGExperience with Network Automation in Python, Ansible, NETCONF, or RESTCONFExperience with implementing monitoring tools and set up alerts for performance bottlenecksExperience with deploying IaaS, PaaS, or SaaSExperience with Linux distributionsKnowledge of Networking principles and conceptsKnowledge of API design and Object-Oriented principlesMasters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or MathematicsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.Create Your Career:Grow With UsYour growth matters to usthats why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
