Job Description Job Description Controls Engineer Controls Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems and controllers, with the ability to integrate various technologies to optimize performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for automation and process control applications. Implement and test control algorithms to ensure system performance meets specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with hardware and software components. Conduct system simulations and analysis to validate control strategies and system behavior. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and hardware integration. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in control systems and controllers design and implementation. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, PID control, and sensor technologies Experience with embedded systems integration and electrical design. Proficiency in using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for testing and troubleshooting Experience would be a Plus Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and systems on chip (SoCs), VHDL/Verilog, and RTL design is advantageous. Knowledge of PCB layout design and DAC/ADC interfacing is preferred. Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket or Subversion. Programming skills in C++, Python, and Matlab are required. Experience with GIT and Altium Designer is a plus.
