follow us on . As the Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing,
Biosense Webster (BWI), we are looking for a leader who will
collaborate across our US and OUS cross-functional organization
through inspiring leadership that stimulates innovative marketing
to identify and address global unmet needs. Located in Irvine, CA,
the Vice President will lead the development and execution of the
marketing strategy for the BWI business worldwide to drive short
and long-term growth. This includes a keen focus on leading and
coordinating critical process related to business planning,
strategic marketing plans, portfolio management and development,
market research, new product launches, business performance
tracking and multi-channel marketing ensuring that marketing
efforts align with the company's overall business objectives. Key
Objectives and Responsibilities --- Develop and execute a
comprehensive global marketing strategy that supports the company's
business objectives and drives revenue growth. --- Lead a team of
marketing professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure
that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the company's
overall goals. --- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring
that all expenditures are within budget and aligned with the
company's goals. --- Global portfolio planning for BWI, including
development of 5-year strategic plan with inclusion of R&D
innovation and strategic acquisitions. --- Drive the
cross-functional and cross-organizational delivery of the strategy
and global product portfolio marketing plans, including value
propositions, positioning, and segmentation. --- Shape product
development scenarios and drive optimal lifecycle management. ---
Formulate pipeline recommendations and priorities while leading
strategy and business plans including support to all business
development related opportunities. --- Possess product and clinical
application expertise to both develop direct reports and
communicate effectively with physician customers. --- Understands
and anticipates customer needs. Ensures that appropriate customer
input is gathered for new and existing products. --- Analyzes
competitors and ensures competitive strategies are in place for new
and existing products. --- Inspires a "market focused" culture
through the creation of global and regional marketing plans. ---
Ensures that value propositions are clear in both global and
regional marketing plans for new and existing products. ---
Provides leadership and vision for brands in development, and
brings to bear opportunities with regional partners, customers,
Johnson and Johnson brands, and alliances. --- Responsible for
clinical claims development and evidence generation strategy for
products in development and for existing products. --- Partner with
broader commercial team globally to successfully deliver on
business plans and execute global strategies in each region,
driving global and regional alignment with focus on
US/China/Japan/EMEA --- Collaborate with Global Education, R&D,
Program Management, Regional Marketing (US and OUS), Clinical and
New Business Development for strategic plan formulation and
execution. --- Collaborate with business intelligence group. ---
Build strong customer relationships globally (e.g., KOLs) and
ensure VOC is central to all global product decisions. This
includes both "traditional" customers, and new key digital opinion
leaders, considered influencers on social media. --- Lead key
opinion leadership engagement with customers and internal
management, including symposiums, congresses, and in-house
educational sessions. --- Oversight for scientific advisory board
programming, medical education initiatives, and KOL relationship
building. --- Develop and implement talent development strategies
and programs that align with the organization's goals and
objectives and build strong talent bench within the global
strategic marketing team. --- Collaborate with internal
stakeholders to create career development plans and succession
planning programs for high-potential employees.
