Description: West Coast Center for Surgeries is an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Medicare Certified Center. We are looking for an energetic circulating RN (Registered Nurse) with Ophthalmology experience who demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that patient will be safe and to keep highest degree of quality care. To maintain the sterile field in the operating room, being constantly vigilant to see that proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection between patients.Duties: RN must be able to follow directions accurately, quickly and carefully RN must be a team player RN helps to prepare surgeons and inventory for daily surgical cases RN helps in maintaining log books and following guidelines for accreditation RN is responsible for Pre-op duties RN. is responsible for Post-op duties RN is responsible for Circulating dutiesPM22Requirements: RN and hold a license in the state of California Current BLS and ACLS certification Previous surgical experience in Ophthalmology is required Must work with energy and efficiency**Please do not apply if you do not have Cataract surgery experience**This is a Part Time position based on the surgical schedule, which is generally Tuesday-Thursday, and one Friday per month.Job Type: Part-timePay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hourCompensation details: 45-60 Hourly WagePI807b96ceefcd-26289-29398366
