About the job:We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to deliver essential nursing care to our clients during detoxification. The Nurse will monitor withdrawal symptoms, administer medications per physician orders, and support clients through their most vulnerable stage of recovery with professionalism and empathy.About our company:Restart Recovery detox center is a specialized facility focused on helping individuals safely withdraw from substances such as drugs or alcohol. We are staffed by compassionate medical professionals and support personnel who guide clients through stabilization and into long-term recovery.Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and document client vital signs and withdrawal symptoms - Administer prescribed medications in accordance with facility protocol and physician direction - Respond to medical emergencies and report changes in client condition promptly - Complete nursing documentation accurately and in a timely manner - Assist in intake assessments and medical screenings - Communicate effectively with the clinical and medical team - Uphold HIPAA and facility confidentiality standards at all times - Support a clean, safe, and therapeutic environmentRequired Qualifications: - Current California LVN license in good standing - Current CPR/First Aid certification - Minimum 2 years' experience in a detox, behavioral health, or substance use treatment setting - Excellent observation, assessment, and communication skills - Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as neededPreferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with ASAM criteria and withdrawal protocols - Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
