Job Description:
A company is looking for a Health Plan Documents Specialist to
prepare and manage health plan documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare new and restated Summary Plan Description (SPD) booklets
for moderate to complex plan designs
Complete annual Summary of Benefits & Coverage (SBC) templates for
moderate to complex plan designs
Respond to inquiries regarding plan provisions and represent the
department in client meetings
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent (preferred in English, Liberal
Arts, or Communication studies)
Current position as Plan Document Specialist or a minimum of three
years' experience with medical benefit plans
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to identify benefit/compliance issues and communicate
resolutions
Experience conducting peer reviews on documents
