Job Description:
Job Duties: Provides leadership in design, configuration, implementation,
communication, maintenance and administration in support of HRIS
strategy including management and completion of all HR audits;
administration and maintenance of the HR Information Systems (Core
HRIS, Employee Central, Performance & Goal Management, Benefits,
Recruiting, Learning Management, etc.) by developing software
requirements based on changing business needs. Manage staff in
day-to-day performance of their work. Manage and oversee HR systems
(Core HRIS including Benefits, Compensation, Security Admin,
Reporting, Onboarding, Performance & Goal Management, Recruiting,
Learning Management, etc.). Establish, implement and maintain audit
procedures to ensure database information is accurate and
up-to-date. Troubleshoot and solve data and system problems.
Complete regular audits to ensure HR compliance with Government
Regulations and organization Policies & Procedures. Establish and
implement SAP configurations through Super Admin Role; Develop,
code and program integration processes using Dell Boomi middleware;
maintains knowledge and understanding of Groovy programming
language, Oracle, and other programming languages; establish
security protocols to ensure data privacy, in conjunction with IT
professionals within the organization, in alignment with
established governance procedures. Implement SAP as the official
system of record for the enterprise. Create and maintain system
alerts and user roles/access. Serve as liaison between Human
Resources, IT department and system vendors. Work with HR
leadership to establish HR technology roadmap to ensure systems
meet the needs of HR and non-HR business needs. Review system
release notes to ensure continued viability of system, and to take
advantage of new/improved system functionality. Acts as a subject
matter expert for other HR team members, and train users on system
design & functionality. Mentor/cross-train HR Analyst in system
administration/maintenance. Facilitate the documentation of
business requirements, the review of functional specifications,
analysis of impact of changes on HR functions and processes.
Facilitate development and review of comprehensive test plans with
associated results, overseeing testing, issue resolution,
communication, resource management, and change management as it
relates to HR system projects. Manage and oversee complex data and
reports for internal clients and outside agencies such as EEOC,
EDD, IRS and request from outside counsel. Prepare analysis of
information, as needed. Manage, develop, coach, and motivate
employees in the HRIS team. Manage the day-to-day performance of
work function of HRIS Staff to ensure that project/department
milestones/goals are met. Provides mentorship and development to
HRIS staff and assign work tasks and projects. Drives system
knowledge and experience, set performance goals of HRIS staff.
Create and manage team budgets. Works alongside Director, Learning
and Career Services and Director, COE to provide the necessary
training to meet end users needs and to ensure HR systems and
related procedures are adopted throughout the enterprise (change
management). Ensure that Learning and COE initiatives are
accurately aligned and reflected through system processes within
HRIS. Education Requirement: Bachelor's computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical
engineering or closely related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) Experience Requirement: Five (5) years of progressive experience in job or in a
technical HR systems role with at least two (2) years in a
supervisory/management role. Experience must include: HR compliance audits and in a technical
function utilizing HR software applications, including working on
security and permissions for HRIS systems; application of HR, labor
laws and related data privacy issues, laws and regulations;
Implementation, administration and managements of HRIS platforms,
including modules related to employee systems of record, benefits,
payroll, compensation, organizational development and recruitment;
HR information system implementation and SAP provisional
configurations experience; and Dell Boomi including deploying,
scheduling, programming and troubleshooting basic integration
processes; Launching and moving forms including troubleshooting for
