Senior attorneySuccessful and growing business and real estate law firm celebrating 40 years in Orange County (and recently voted, for a second year in a row, as one of OC Business Journal's Best Places to Work) seeks motivated litigation attorney who lives in the Orange County area and has a minimum of 10 years' experience in the areas of real estate/business/construction/mechanics lien law. -Trial experience (1st or 2nd chair) is highly preferred. -The ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long-term opportunity in a collegial, in-office work environment. Salary, generous bonus plans (hours and client referral), and competitive benefits package are included. -Work/life balance is important, so billable hours are 1500 -Litigation candidates only please. - -Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery
• Appearing in court both in person and remote
• Preparing for and attending depositions
• Handling cases from inception to resolution
• Representing clients at mediations, settlement conferences and trials
• Prompt client interaction
• -Proven experience as a litigation attorney
• Trials - both bench and jury
• Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative manner
• Trustworthy and collegialRequirements:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school; a member in good standing of the California Bar
  • Strong drafting skills
