Job Overview Reports to: Department Supervisor Location: Garden Grove, CA Type: Full-Time Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am) Job Summary: To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations Complete the paint daily checklist Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines Maintains all paint equipment Other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Experience: 1 plus years of experience in Aircraft Painting Other Physical Requirements Vision (Near, Distance) Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses Standing for long periods of time Benefits: Compensation Range $18.36 - $24.67 (DOE) Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer Paid Basic Life, Supplemental Life Insurance, 401k with an Employer Match Generous Paid Time Off program 8 Holidays and 1 Floater Holiday Valence Surface Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
