ROLE OF THE COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

Communications Associates are integral members of the client marketing department. Working together with account management, product management, other areas of client marketing, and occasionally, portfolio management, the Communications Associate develops client servicing, marketing, and educational collateral for U.S. and non-U.S., institutional and retail audiences. Associates contribute to the design, content, messaging and data to develop presentations and other marketing content which consistently reflect brand and thought leadership. The Communications Associate will be expected to extract data from a variety of internal and external databases and to leverage strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to create materials according to our brand guidelines.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

?Create customized client-servicing, marketing and educational presentations

?Work with product management to create and maintain strategy storyboards

?Extract data from various internal and external applications and use Excel to organize and manipulate data

?Leverage PowerPoint skills to create and update presentations

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

?Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint is required

?Strong analytical skills and graphic design fundamentals

?Strong understanding of financial markets; 1-2 years of related work experience preferred

?Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills

?Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is critical

?Must have a good work ethic and follow-up skills

?Team player who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team

?Clear understanding and commitment culture, values and approach

Education

?Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or marketing/communications.
